Uma m\u00e9dia que nos deixa de consci\u00eancia tranquila nos dias em que n\u00e3o praticamos exerc\u00edcio f\u00edsico, mas ao menos demos 10.000 passos.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Com contadores de passos nos smartphones ou em pulseiras ou rel\u00f3gios de desporto, tem-se vindo a falar novamente neste objetivo, que promete queimar 500 calorias por dia. Mas a ideia foi criada nos anos 60 e o n\u00famero teve origem numa campanha de marketing japonesa.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Alerta sobre os maus h\u00e1bitos que se come\u00e7ava a ver no Jap\u00e3o, e ilustrava o sedentarismo americano, uma empresa aproveitou as Olimp\u00edadas de 1964 para criar uma forma de motivar os seus consumidores a mexerem-se mais.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Conta a BBC que foi atrav\u00e9s de um medidor de passos que o fizeram. O aparelho chamava-se Manpo-Kei, que significa literalmente \u201cmedidor de 10 mil passos\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Hatano, o criador deste que foi um dos primeiros ped\u00f3metros, sabia que se persuadisse os consumidores de que, com 10 mil passos di\u00e1rios, queimariam cerca de 50 calorias por dia, o seu produto teria sucesso e tanto o foi, que a ideia perdurou at\u00e9 aos nossos dias.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">A refutar a efic\u00e1cia deste n\u00famero, a BBC apresenta os dados de uma experi\u00eancia que veio provar que a atividade f\u00edsica \u00e9 mais eficaz e ben\u00e9fica para a sa\u00fade quando tem um n\u00edvel de moderado a intenso, j\u00e1 que h\u00e1 um aumento da frequ\u00eancia card\u00edaca, que ajuda a diminuir o risco de diabetes e doen\u00e7as cardiovasculares. Ou seja, uma caminhada mais curta, mas mais r\u00e1pida e intensa, ser\u00e1 mais ben\u00e9fico que 10 mil passos ao longo do dia.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Ainda assim,, para A refutar a efic\u00e1cia deste n\u00famero, a BBC apresenta os dados de uma experi\u00eancia que veio provar que a atividade f\u00edsica \u00e9 mais eficaz e ben\u00e9fica para a sa\u00fade quando tem um n\u00edvel de moderado a intenso, j\u00e1 que h\u00e1 um aumento da frequ\u00eancia card\u00edaca, que ajuda a diminuir o risco de diabetes e doen\u00e7as cardiovasculares.
